Self-compassion triggers people to adopt a growth mindset. It is proved that self-compassion leads to improved mental health and greater life satisfaction.
We are always to achieve more and more. However, there is great strength in appreciating what we already have. So how to practice gratitude?

We often forgive our loved ones no matter what was the situation has been. Do we adopt the same rule to ourselves?
Be gentle when you confront your shortcomings. You are not perfect and this is OK. Who is perfect? We are all same. So take it easy, don't punish yourself for every single mistake that you make.
Generosity is a great way of employing compassion. However, choosing the right level is critical. Always choose the recipient of your generosity consciously, available resources, and your level of energy based on what will support YOUR well-being.
